Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and answer the phone while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Register patients, update demographics, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and document in the electronic system.
• Confirm accurate registration information to ensure clean billing; perform visit closure and follow-up tasks as needed.
• Provide wayfinding and high-level customer service at point of service.
• Check patients in and out, handle payments, and coordinate with staff for patient flow.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; collect copays and deductibles.
• Assist with clerical tasks (copying, scanning, faxing) and maintain patient files.
• Direct inquiries to appropriate staff and provide directions/information to patients.
• Ensure front desk, waiting area, and children’s play area are clean and organized.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow all company policies.
• This role may involve standing, walking, lifting up to 10 pounds, and routine office tasks.
• Non-exempt status; scheduling based on operational needs.
