Job summary

Apploi is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care in the therapy department. The role involves working under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist, completing documentation, and supporting the team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

The position requires strong communication, adherence to regulatory procedures, and a commitment to continuing professional development. PRN hours include weekday 3–4 hours or weekend 6–8 hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA approved Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy (OTA).
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience in adult neurological, cardiac, or general rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of a registered Occupational Therapist.
• Complete documentation according to established procedures.
• Contribute to professional development and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Assist with scheduling patient services and administrative duties.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and effective communication with patients, families and staff.
