Job summary

Outcome HC is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our In House Rehab Team at our skilled nursing facility. The OTA will work to restore function and prevent decline, with emphasis on communication and collaboration within the care team.

Licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in GA is required. Weekend flexibility and a flexible PRN schedule are expected to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in GA is required.
• Weekend availability or weekend rotations may be needed.
• Flexible schedule or PRN arrangement may apply.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients following acceptable practice standards.
• Record daily treatment and progress notes according to guidelines.
• Document daily notes and progress notes.
• Participate in patient/resident care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Communicate progress with supervisor and health team members.
• Instruct families in caregiver training for home care.
• Coordinate with Rehab Department staff.
• Perform other duties as requested.
