Job summary

You will assist patients recovering from illness or injury to regain independence and improve daily living activities in a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Michigan Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in post-acute rehabilitation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing staff, and physicians to deliver patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies.
