Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Palestine is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improve quality of life.

The role requires an active Texas OTA license and COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred. Familiarity with Net Health EHR is a plus, and strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Must hold an active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
Experience with Net Health EHR preferred.

Responsabilités

Plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT per physician orders.
Respond to requests for service and coordinate with the OT.
Ensure treatments align with the care plan.
Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
Monitor responses and report changes to the OT.
Complete required documentation per policy and regulations.
Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
