Job summary

Ganadonr is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will plan and deliver OT treatments to help residents improve independence and quality of life under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The role requires an active Texas OTA license and COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred and strong communication skills. Per diem schedules offer flexible hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OTA license required.
• COTA credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EDS preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents with disabilities.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT.
• Relay information and referrals to the OT on service requests.
• Ensure treatments align with the plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to interventions and report changes.
• Complete required documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Attend required rehab department meetings.
