Job summary

Buena Vida Nursing is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will administer person-centered OT services to residents, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, and participate in planning and documenting treatment plans.

Qualified candidates hold an active Texas OTA license and COTA credential, with SNF experience preferred. Familiarity with Net Health EDS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Net Health EDS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT per physician orders.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the OT.
• Ensure treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Deliver patient, family, and caregiver education and support.
• Monitor patient response and report changes.
• Complete required documentation per policy and regulations.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
