Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a PRN / Pool Occupational Therapist (OT) to support inpatient and related care settings. This role offers schedule flexibility while continuing to work with medically complex rehabilitation patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The OT will evaluate and treat, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by NBCOT or AOTA.
• Licensed or license-eligible as an Occupational Therapist in Georgia, with licensure by start date of employment
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical occupational therapy experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and therapeutic interventions for assigned patient populations
• Deliver patient-centered treatment for individuals with complex medical and functional rehabilitation needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, progress, and clinical outcomes
• Monitor, screen, and follow occupational therapy consults within assigned service areas
• Deliver care that addresses patients’ physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Provide PRN / Pool coverage across designated service areas as departmental needs require
