Job summary

Palomar Vista Healthcare Center in Escondido, CA is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment to geriatric patients and contribute to recovery.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited OTA program and an active state license where applicable; all levels of experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
