Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to join our Near North team. The PA will provide direct patient care in outpatient clinics and hospital settings, support orthopaedic surgeons in the OR, and coordinate care across settings.

Strong clinical judgment and communication are essential. The role requires an accredited PA program graduate with IL licensure or eligibility, NCCPA certification, and ACLS/CPR; two years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with completed residency.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active Certification from NCCPA.
• Active Licensure as Physician’s Assistant in the State of Illinois.
• ACLS desirable; current CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic and hospital settings following physician protocols.
• Assist the Surgeon in the operating room and during rounds.
• Coordinate patient care between the office and hospital settings.
• Dictate clinic progress notes, discharge summaries, and orders for tests.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans per physician protocols.
