Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to join the Near North team. You will work directly with orthopedic surgeons at hospitals or surgery centers, performing outpatient and hospital duties in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

Requirements include graduates of PA program with residency, NCCPA certification, and licensure in Illinois; experience in orthopedic care preferred. Base salary will be aligned to hourly rate for PRN work, with comprehensive benefits for

Qualifications

• Orthopedic care experience preferred.
• Active IL PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required or in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Surgeon by rounding on patients in hospital/clinic as directed.
• Perform outpatient clinic duties under physician supervision.
• Prescribe medications and manage patient care per protocol.
• Document in EHR and coordinate with hospital teams.
