Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC seeks a Physician Assistant to support physicians in outpatient clinics and hospital settings. The PA works closely with surgeons to provide direct patient care, perform injections, order tests, and help develop treatment plans under established protocols.

Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited PA program, hold NCCPA certification, and be licensed in Illinois. ACLS and CPR are preferred; travel to affiliated sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program with completed residency.
• Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active Certification from NCCPA and Illinois Licensure as PA.
• ACLS desirable; current CPR required.

Responsibilities

• See patients in the clinic independently or with supervision.
• Dictate clinic progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Order tests and develop treatment plans with physician approval.
• Perform injections, joint aspirations, and interpret imaging results.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate pre-operative testing.
• Contribute to patient care plans and post-operative instructions.

MS in Physician Assistant Studies
