Atlas Healthcare Partners in Phoenix seeks a Scrub Tech for PRN float pool coverage across multiple outpatient surgery centers. This role travels between facilities within the West Valley area, with no weekend shifts and no on-call requirements.

You will assist with instrument handling, aseptic technique, and turnover between cases, while supporting surgeons and the OR team. A minimum commitment of 4 shifts per month keeps your schedule flexible.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS required; register with State Regulatory Agency where applicable.
• Ability to maintain decorum in highly stressful emergent situations.
• Conscientious, organized, and able to respond quickly to surgeon/patient needs.
• Preferred: graduate of certified surgical technology program or 2 years OR experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepares for surgical procedures; pulls instruments and supplies; ensures instruments are in good working order.
• Anticipates the surgeon's needs; passes instruments; retracts tissue; operates equipment.
• Maintains aseptic technique and universal precautions; disposes of sharps and trash; counts and prepares for cleaning.
• Ensures accuracy of surgeon preference cards and pick lists; supports turnover between cases.
• Stocking, replenishing supplies, and cleaning operating rooms; may assist with department administrative tasks.
