Job summary

Clear Creek Surgery Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Operating Room Nurse to support circulating or scrub roles. You will ensure safe nursing care until patient transfer to recovery, working within a team that values caring like family.

Responsibilities include instrument setup, room coordination, and accurate documentation, with emphasis on patient safety and efficient OR flow.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or compact licensure.
• Valid BCLS certification upon employment; online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS as required by facility; CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for the OR and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Coordinate and oversee the room as circulator during cases.
• Facilitate efficient transitions between surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient care and medications, including anesthesia support.
• Review charts for completeness per documentation protocols.
