Medcor is seeking an Onsite Health Technician (EMT/Paramedic/LPN) to provide hands-on clinical care at employer‑based clinics in Waco and McGregor, TX. This PRN role offers flexibility with no guaranteed hours and opportunities to gain occupational health experience.

You will assess injuries, provide first aid, support RTW programs, and document encounters in EMR while collaborating with employees and Medcor’s medical team. Onsite clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification, as applicable.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other healthcare technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50‑pound emergency response bag.
• Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in an onsite clinic environment.
• A positive, patient‑focused attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands‑on clinical care in an employer‑based healthcare setting.
• Assess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using evidence‑based clinical protocols.
• Provide first aid and respond to workplace medical emergencies.
• Assist with workers’ compensation case management and Return‑to‑Work programs.
• Coordinate with outside medical providers for follow‑up care and treatment plans.
• Document patient encounters accurately in EMR.
• Support employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer health screenings.
• Assist with PATs and OSHA record‑keeping.
