Job summary

Medcor is seeking a PRN Onsite Health Technician (EMT/Paramedic/LPN) for our occupational health clinic in Cedar Falls, IA. Flexible scheduling based on clinic coverage needs, with no guaranteed hours.

You will provide hands-on patient care, manage workplace injuries, and coordinate with Medcor leadership and outside providers to help employees safely return to work. Strong clinical judgment and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, valid EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification applicable to the position in Iowa.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other workplace technology.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions within your scope of practice.
• A positive, professional attitude and genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care at a worksite clinic.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Triage and administer first aid within scope.
• Support workers' compensation and Return-to-Work programs.
