Job summary

Medcor is seeking a Onsite Health Technician at our Cedar Falls, IA site to support employee health at the client worksite. This PRN role offers flexible shifts and no guaranteed hours, ideal for clinicians seeking occasional shifts.

You will assess injuries, provide first aid, manage workplace health needs, and collaborate with Medcor's clinical leadership to help employees return to work. Occupational health/EMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure in Iowa.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with EMR and workplace technology.
• Ability to lift a 50-pound bag.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions.
• Positive, professional attitude and passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat workplace injuries using Medcor care protocols.
• Provide first aid, triage and clinical care within scope.
• Support workers' compensation and Return-to-Work programs.
• Coordinate care with outside medical providers.
• Perform pre-employment and post-offer health screenings.
• Support employee health, wellness and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Build positive relationships with employees and client representatives.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
