Job summary

Medcor seeks an Onsite Health Technician (PRN) in Midway, GA to provide first aid and injury care at an employer-based clinic. You will assess injuries, support RTW programs, and coordinate with Medcor’s clinical team to ensure quality patient care.

The role offers flexible, as-needed shifts with clinic hours on Saturdays to Tuesdays and Thursdays to Fridays, requiring reliability in a clinical, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification, as applicable.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other healthcare technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.
• Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in an onsite clinic environment.
• A positive, patient-focused attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical care in an employer-based healthcare setting.
• Assess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor’s clinical protocols.
• Provide first aid and respond to workplace medical emergencies.
• Assist with workers’ compensation case management and Return-to-Work (RTW) programs.
• Coordinate with outside medical providers for follow-up care and treatment plans.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Support employee health and wellness initiatives in the workplace.
