Job summary

Medcor is seeking an Onsite Health Technician to provide hands-on clinical care in employer-based settings, working with employees, client leadership, and Medcor’s medical team.

This PRN role offers flexibility to pick up shifts at Midway, GA, with clinic hours that require weekend/evening availability and no guaranteed hours. Ideal candidates hold EMT/Paramedic/LPN licensure and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Current, valid EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other healthcare technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.
• Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in an onsite clinic environment.
• A positive, patient-focused attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols.
• Provide first aid and respond to workplace medical emergencies.
• Assist with workers' compensation case management and Return-to-Work (RTW) programs.
• Coordinate with outside medical providers to support appropriate follow-up care and treatment plans.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Support employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct pre-employment and post-offer health screenings.
• Assist with occupational health screenings and workplace injury documentation.
• Help promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Build positive relationships with employees, client leadership, and Medcor team members.
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
• Communicate effectively with medical providers, operational leadership, and other key stakeholders.
• Help maintain a welcoming, professional, and organized clinic environment.

Position Details

Location: Midway, GA

Position Type: PRN (As-Needed)

Clinic Operating Hours

• Saturday-Tuesday: 12:00pm–10:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am–6:00pm OR 2:00pm–12:00am
• Thursday-Friday: 11:00am–9:00pm

Important: This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed hours. We're looking for someone who has the flexibility to pick up occasional shifts based on clinic coverage needs. What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification, as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in occupational health, emergency medicine, urgent care, or a similar clinical setting.
• Familiarity with workplace injury management, workers' compensation, or Return-to-Work programs.
• Experience working in an employer-based or industrial healthcare environment.
