Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop and implement rehabilitation plans, and supervise assistants in a post-acute care setting. You will coordinate with physicians and families to optimize outcomes and discharge planning.

The role emphasizes documentation accuracy, patient education, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols in a facility-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Occupational Therapy with OT licensure.
• Master’s/Doctorate preferred but not required.
• Experience supervising staff and documenting in health records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise COTA and students in resident care activities.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and home programs.
