Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and families. The role includes supervising assistants, training staff, and maintaining compliant documentation in the facility setting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy (Masters/Doctorate preferred), and strong skills in communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures and policies.
• Proficient computer skills with Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents to identify OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise COTA and students in resident care.
• Train Restorative Aides and facility staff as needed.
