Job summary

Hireology seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will evaluate residents and develop treatment plans to improve independence in ADLs/IADLs within a SNF setting in Texas.

Active Texas OT license required; strong documentation in Net Health and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team are essential. Flexible schedule and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy license
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to evaluate their condition and impact on daily activities
• Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize ADLs and IADLs
• Assess home environments and recommend modifications
• Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training
• Ensure treatments align with plan of care
• Monitor response to treatment and adjust as needed
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for high-quality care
• Complete documentation thoroughly and timely
• Comply with regulations and policies
• Attend meetings with rehab leadership
