Job summary

San Joaquin Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for PRN-Time. The OT will evaluate and treat residents, collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team, and maintain accurate documentation in the medical record. Supervisory responsibilities include overseeing COTAs and aides as applicable.

Qualified candidates hold a CA OT license (active and in good standing) and have strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills. New grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents within 24 hours (or one business day) of physician referral and document clearly.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide skilled OT services per physician orders.
• Supervise support staff and communicate resident progress to the interdisciplinary team.
