Job summary

The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will assess cognitive and ADL functioning, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide rehabilitative interventions tailored to geriatric inpatients. Licensed OT is required; all experience levels are welcome.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (Required).
• Open to OTs of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL disorders to create individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and standardized assessments to guide interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatments including ADL retraining, activities, and device training.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments to meet goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team for comprehensive care.
• Document outcomes and communicate progress to the care team.
• Provide discharge summaries and recommendations for continued care.
