The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. You will assess cognitive and ADL functioning, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide rehabilitative interventions tailored to geriatric inpatients. Licensed OT is required; all experience levels are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess progress and adjust treatments to meet goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team for comprehensive care.
• Document outcomes and communicate progress to the care team.
• Provide discharge summaries and recommendations for continued care.

The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX , is a skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders, creating individualized treatment plans that meet regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and standardized assessments to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and assistive device training.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to meet goals.
• Work closely with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate progress effectively with the healthcare team and document outcomes according to regulatory standards.
• Provide discharge summaries and recommendations for continued care.
