Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking an Occupational Therapist at Anderson Hospital to help patients perform daily tasks and return to work and life activities. The role covers outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings, with assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation.

The ideal candidate is licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio, has BLS certification (or will obtain within 30 days for some sites) and at least two years of relevant experience; strong

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH)
• 2 years of experience in equivalent setting (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Review physician referrals and patient medical history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct and document patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatment plans according to department protocols.
• Administer prescribed occupational therapy treatments and create custom equipment for individual needs.
• Develop programs focusing on functional skills, vocational training, daily activities, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment goals and plans as necessary, participating in patient care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment procedures.
