Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield Hospital seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain daily living and work-related tasks across inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric settings. You will assess, plan, and document progress in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

You will implement therapy programs, create adaptive equipment, and educate patients and families on home treatment. Requires license in current practice state and BLS; 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice.
• BLS certification within 30 days for RSFH.
• 2 years of experience preferred in related settings.

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Perform and document patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments and create adaptive equipment.
• Develop programs focusing on daily living, work skills, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals with the care team.
• Educate patients and families on home treatment procedures.
