Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist at Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati to enhance patients’ ability to perform daily tasks. You will assess, plan, and document treatment across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings, tailoring programs to patient needs and physician referrals.

Responsibilities include evaluations, plan development, and education for patients and families. Licensed OT in the state and BLS requirements apply, with hospital-based team collaboration

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for some facilities).

Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct and document patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatment plans.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments and create equipment for patients.
• Develop programs focusing on functional skills, daily activities, and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment procedures.
