Job summary

Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services in our Texas facilities. The role supports patients’ recovery and quality of life through skilled OT interventions and family/caregiver counseling.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with NBCOT certification.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Active state licensure and ability to supervise per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulations.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other service providers.
• Supervise OT assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel per licensure rules.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.

Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards
