Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and treat patients referred within PM&R. The role includes documentation, billing, and clinical education of OT/OTA students, with potential to work across PM&R specialties.

Requires a Master’s degree in OT and Texas OT licensure eligibility. The position emphasizes ethics, patient confidence, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapist program.
• If OT license was received prior to 1990, then prior educational requirements/criteria will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with age-appropriate OT techniques within medical limits.
• Complete documentation and billing for Occupational Therapy.
• Serve as clinical instructor for OT/OTA students.
• May work in other PM&R specialty areas and be competent in all assigned areas.
• All other duties related to the assigned responsibilities.
