Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, establish a plan of care, and treat patients referred within PM&R. The role involves performing evaluations, delivering therapy, and handling required documentation and billing.

You will participate in clinical education as a CI for OT/OTA students and may work across PM&R specialty areas as assigned, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited OT program.
• Must have or be eligible for a Texas OT license.
• Ability to apply OT theory per state practice act and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and establish a plan of care for referred patients.
• Perform treatments and documentation/billing for OT services.
• Serve as CI for OT/OTA students in clinical education.
• Be capable across PM&R specialty areas as assigned.
