PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide evidence-based therapy to geriatric patients within the Advent Health North Pinellas network. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and case managers to support safe discharge plans.

Required: ACOTE-approved OT program, NBCOT registration, current or pending state licensure, and BLS. Compensation is $50/hour with PRN weekend and holiday shifts, and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE approved occupational therapy program.
• Registered with NBCOT.
• Current or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)

Hospital/Clinic Address: 1395 S Pinellas Ave, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689

Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health North Pinellas, which is a132‑bed facility and a small community hospital. All primarily geriatric population. Joint commission certified for joint hip and total knee program and holds a primary stroke certification. There are 5 total floors to the hospital including 1 critical care unit and 1 step down unit. This is an all‑acute care hospital.

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Occupational Therapist

Pay Range: $50/hr. (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
