Job summary

PT Solutions in Riverview, FL is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our acute care team. You will deliver evidence-based therapy to a diverse patient population and coordinate care with physicians and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACOTE approved occupational therapy program.
• Registered with NBCOT.
• Current or pending state licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc).

Hospital/Clinic Information:

PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health Riverview, which opened in October 2024 and is an 82-bed facility that will eventually expand to around 200 beds. The facility currently provides emergency care, cardiology, labor and delivery, bariatric, general, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery. There are 4 floors in the hospital, including 1 combined PCU/ICU and 1 med/surg unit, again as the hospital expands so will these units. The rehab team is currently made up of 7 full-time therapists (3 PT, 2 OT, 1 SLP and our clinic manager).

Compensation

Pay Range: $50/hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
