Henrico Doctors' Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support patient recovery. Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Licensed in the State of Virginia.
• 1 year OT experience in acute care preferred.

• Responsible for clinical management of the patient.
• Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff) upholding ICARE values.
• Participates in Quality Management activities.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills.
• Demonstrates understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Promotes cost effective unit operations.
• Documents care utilizing the appropriate tools.
• Maintains competencies in clinical areas and is responsible for professional growth and development.
• Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and departmental standards.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:Graduate of an AOTA accredited School of Occupational Therapy

BLS – required at time of hire

LICENSURE:Licensed in the State of Virginia

EXPERIENCE:Previous experience in an acute care facility preferred; 1 year OT experience required
