Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a PRN OB/GYN physician to join a team delivering obstetric and gynecologic care across hospital and clinic settings in the Brighton area of Colorado. Responsibilities include hospitalist coverage, clinic shifts, and access to MFM services onsite.

The role supports a Baby-Friendly Hospital with a Level II NICU and 24/7 anesthesia in-house. Applicants must have an MD/DO, ACGME OB/GYN residency, and be board certified or eligible in OB/GYN, with an active Colorado

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME residency in OB/GYN completed or in process if eligible.
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN hospitalist care on an as-needed basis.
• Cover clinic shifts at OB/GYN clinics in Brighton, Commerce City and Thornton.
• Work at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton for hospitalist shifts; MFM onsite in Brighton two days/week.

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• On an as-needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts and clinic shifts.
• You may provide care in three of our OB/GYN clinics, located in Brighton, Commerce City, and Thornton, Colorado. All located just North of Denver.

• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts will be at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado. Platte Valley is home to a level II NICU and thriving Labor & Delivery Unit .We are a designated Baby-FriendlyHospital,that has been ranked highly inWomen'sChoice Awards Best Hospitals for Obstetrics and Emergency Care.Anesthesia is available 24/7 in house with backup.

• MFM is onsite in Brighton two days per weekand is available24/7forconsult.
• Clinic shifts are generally 8-hours in length, at a rate of $1,528.00.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are 12-hours in length at a pay rate of $2,143.00. If desired, they can be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments.
• Your malpractice coverage will be paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

What you'll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN
• Active, unobstructed Coloradomedical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Federal DEA Registration
• BLS certification
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
