Job summary

Baptist South is hiring a PRN Nutrition Coordinator to join the Patient Food Service team. You will work 12-hour shifts from 6:00am to 6:30pm as needed, including weekends and holidays, ensuring meals meet nutritional requirements and are delivered on time.

The role involves assisting patients with menu choices, coordinating with nursing and culinary teams, and managing tray tickets to support patient satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or healthcare support settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary compliance.
• Assemble, deliver, and retrieve meal trays according to patient selections.
• Manage tray tickets and ensure meals are accurate and timely.
• Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate staff promptly.
