Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Nassau is hiring a full-time Nutrition Coordinator to join our Patient Food Service team in Jacksonville, FL. You will work 12-hour shifts (2.5 days on, 2.5 days off) with rotating weekends, contributing to patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring meals are accurate and delivered timely.

You will assist patients with menu selections, coordinate with nursing and culinary teams, and participate in a multidisciplinary effort to improve care quality.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Support patient satisfaction and participate with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality of care.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, dietary needs, or preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection; deliver and retrieve trays.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties assigned.
