Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Nutrition Coordinator to join our Patient Food Service team at Baptist South on a PRN basis. You will help patients understand menu selections, coordinate tray assembly, and ensure meals are delivered safely on time.

You will work with nursing and culinary staff to accommodate dietary needs, allergies, and cultural preferences, while supporting patient satisfaction and quality care goals.

Qualifications

• Assist patients in understanding their menu selections and coordinate tray assembly.
• Coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met and allergies are respected.
• Deliver meals in a timely and safe manner, maintaining patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure their orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection.
• Deliver and retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times and communicate issues promptly.
