Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Nutrition Coordinator to join our Patient Food Service team at Baptist South. This PRN opportunity focuses on patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring meals are accurate, delivered on time, and prepared to nutritional specifications.

You will assist patients with menu selections and coordinate tray delivery with nursing and the culinary team. As part of a caregiving team, you’ll support diverse patient needs, participate in quality care

Qualifications

• Experience in patient-facing roles is preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and service orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and accommodate nutritional needs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure orders meet diet restrictions.
• Coordinate with culinary team for tray assembly and delivery.
• Manage tray tickets and ensure timely, accurate meal delivery to patient rooms.
• Document and communicate patient concerns to the care team.
