Job summary

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, attending in-service programs, and upholding confidentiality and effective communication across the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or Nursing Assistant program required.
• Enrollment in a nursing assistant program with first semester clinical rotation may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with nursing care and plan of care for patients.
• Maintain the unit and patient rooms for cleanliness and order.
• Demonstrate competency in age-specific criteria as applicable.
• Assist in maintaining supply inventory and unit equipment.
• Attend in-service programs and unit meetings.
• Maintain clear, confidential communication with patients and staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain records as required.
• Follow the Hospital Compliance Program and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required.
