Job summary

ADVANCED CHENEGA SERVICES, LLC in Sacramento, CA seeks a Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical histories, physicals, and reviews of required tests for Armed Forces applicants. You will coordinate medical consultations and apply accession standards while ensuring patient dignity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include thorough health histories, test reviews, and collaboration with multiple specialties. Prior experience in clinical assessment and compliance with DoD policies is required.

Qualifications

• Must have NP certification from ANCC/AANP or recognized organization.
• Current unrestricted NP license in the 50 states/DC/PR/Guam/USVI.
• Minimum two years postgraduate direct patient care in the last three years.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with hands-on component renewed every two years.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical histories, physical examinations, and reviews of required medical tests and documents pertaining to consultations and medical histories on applicants for the Armed Forces.
• Review of required medical tests and documents pertaining to consultations and medical histories.
• Secure a thorough health history from the applicant and record findings.
• Arrange medical consultations (orthopedics, psychiatry, ENT, dermatology, internal medicine, and dental).
• Accomplish the specified quantity and quality of work within the schedule and hours allotted herein.
• Abide by DoD, USMEPCOM, and applicable instructions, regulations, and policies.
• Apply accession medical standards to determine applicant qualifications.
• Become proficient in the application of accession medical standards to determine suitability of applicants for military service.
• Provide highest regard to applicant dignity.
• Abide by and follow Privacy Act and HIPAA.
• Participate in MEPS local, medical peer reviews.
