Qualifikationen

• Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiation safety procedures.
• Knowledge of NRC, state and federal regulations for nuclear medicine.
• Ability to recognize abnormal results and adjust protocols accordingly.
• Strong communication skills for patient care and family education.
• Detail-oriented for accurate record keeping and regulatory compliance.

Aufgaben

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapies per protocol and physician orders.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals with strict safety and regulatory adherence.
• Assess patient condition and eligibility before procedures.
• Operate and calibrate gamma cameras and PET scanners for quality imaging.
• Conduct routine QC checks and document regulatory compliance.
• Safely handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials per policy.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other staff to optimize protocols.
• Maintain clear EMR documentation of procedures and patient interactions.
