Wakefield Care and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team in Wakefield, KS. The CNA will provide total resident care, assist with ADLs, document vital signs, and report changes to the medical team.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, respectful communication with residents and families, and teamwork within a supportive environment dedicated to quality elder care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas CNA certification/registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Recording vitals and assisting with ROM exercises.
• Observing changes in residents and reporting to the team.
• Maintaining HIPAA privacy and professional boundaries.
• Fostering warm, respectful relationships with residents and families.

What You'll Do:

As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing total care to our residents, including:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care
• Recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight) and conducting range-of-motion exercises
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or appetite
• Maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members through a warm and professional approach

Qualifications:
