Job summary

Wakefield Care and Rehab, located in Wakefield, KS, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team on a PRN, evenings schedule. You will provide total resident care, support ADLs, and help maintain a respectful, safe environment.

You will record vital signs, assist with mobility and daily activities, observe changes, and report concerns promptly while maintaining HIPAA privacy.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas CNA certification/registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care
• Recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight) and conducting range-of-motion exercises
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or appetite
• Maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members through a warm and professional approach

What You'll Do:

As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing total care to our residents, including:
