Wakefield Care and Rehab in Wakefield, KS is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team and provide total resident care in a rehab setting.

The role requires completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program, Kansas CNA certification, and CPR certification. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and report changes, all while upholding HIPAA standards and building strong resident relationships.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas CNA certification/registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with seniors.

Responsabilités

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care).
• Record vital signs and conduct ROM exercises.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or appetite.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.

What You'll Do:

As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing total care to our residents, including:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care
• Recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight) and conducting range-of-motion exercises
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or appetite
• Maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members through a warm and professional approach

Qualifications:

• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Current Kansas CNA certification/registration
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Desire to work with seniors

Preferred:

• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility
