Wakefield Care and Rehab in Wakefield, KS is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team and provide high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas CNA certification/registration.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, and catheter care.
• Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight) and conduct range-of-motion exercises.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or appetite.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.

What You'll Do:

As a CNA, you'll play a vital role in providing total care to our residents, including:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care
• Recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight) and conducting range-of-motion exercises
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or appetite
• Maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members through a warm and professional approach

Qualifications:

Preferred:

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility
