Job summary

Wakefield Care and Rehab in Wakefield, KS is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate clinical team on a PRN basis. You will provide total resident care, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the nursing staff.

We offer competitive pay at $20–$21.50 per hour, a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, FSA, 401(k), PTO, CEU reimbursement, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas CNA certification/registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care.
• Recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight) and conducting range-of-motion exercises.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or appetite.
• Maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members through a warm and professional approach.

What You’ll Do:
