Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN, seeks a qualified RN for the Neonatal ICU. You will provide professional nursing care to neonates and other patients, performing assessments, planning and implementing care per standards. Role includes documentation, patient education, and discharge planning in a busy unit.

Licensure as an RN in TN (or compact state) is required, with BLS and CPR/AED certifications. Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience and the ability to work flexible float pool assignments

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an approved nursing program. RN license required.
• RN license in TN or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• Heartsaver CPR/AED CPR required.
• Minimum 2 years recent RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to medical regime and unit standards.
• Initiate assessments and determine priorities for care.
• Document assessments, diagnoses and care plans.
• Administer medications (IM, IV, SQ, PO) per physician orders.
• Provide patient and family education; plan discharge.
• Perform clinical rounds and ongoing patient assessments.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist with CPR/BLS/ACLS as needed.
