Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Rout Neonatal ICU in Memphis, TN. The role involves assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Experience in inpatient settings preferred
• Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using nursing process

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care according to medical regimen and established standards
• Initiates patient assessments based on presenting problems and physician diagnosis
• Collects information from patient, family, labs and reports
• Ensures informed consent and proper identification procedures
• Determines nursing diagnoses and care priorities with emphasis on patient teaching and discharge planning
• Documents assessment findings and care provided
• Demonstrates clinical competency and age-specific patient care
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and administers treatments as ordered
• Coordinates patient referrals and patient education
• Maintains records and documents patient status in electronic systems
• Coordinates with staff to ensure safe and compassionate care
