Job summary

Youth Villages seeks a dedicated PRN Crisis Response Counselor to deliver mobile crisis services for youth and families in homes and communities across the service area.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a social services field, licensure or progress toward licensure, and 1 year of clinical experience. Strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social services discipline required.
• Licensure options acceptable include LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT or working toward licensure.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain flexibility.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to document in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provides mobile crisis response and thorough, strength-based assessment.
• Utilizes crisis respite homes when appropriate and collaborates with teams.
• Provides ongoing treatment and intervention to support youth and family.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and documentation in EMR.
• Works in home or community settings and maintains flexible scheduling.
• Reimburses mileage and adheres to safety protocols.
